Julie Swan

PARTNER

Julie is a chartered accountant as well as an insolvency practitioner and has worked in insolvency for over 25 years. Julie’s experience is widespread including appointments in construction, fashion, sports and leisure and retail. Julie has also worked within the finance team of a development/construction arm of a listed plc, giving her insight in this area and an understanding of the operational complexities in such businesses. As well as dealing with insolvency issues, Julie lends her experience to cashflow management issues on behalf of solvent clients.

Sam Talby

PARTNER

Sam is a licenced insolvency practitioner and chartered accountant specialising in providing restructuring, recovery and insolvency advice and programmes to individuals and owner-managed businesses: corporates and unincorporated bodies facing operational or financial uncertainty. Sam has particular experience in the entertainment, fashion, construction and marine industries. Wherever possible, his primary aim is to guide stressed businesses back to financial health with insolvency solutions being the last option.

Stratford Hamilton

Stratford has 23 years' experience in insolvency. Over the last 10 years he has focussed on asset recovery through investigations and litigation. He has successfully brought civil actions of fraud and wrongful actions by directors and other individuals on behalf of creditor groups, UK Government agencies and shareholders. His investigations have led to significant recoveries not only here in the UK but also from various offshore locations including United States of America and Malaysia.

Stratford is a member of the ICAEW and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

ALISON GROVES

LITIGATION & INVESTIGATION EXECUTIVE

Alison has over 25 years of litigation experience with a focus on insolvency and debt recovery.  Her knowledge lends itself particularly well to investigation work and asset tracing.  Alison works with the partners as well as external lawyers to maximise recovery, always with a commercial focus.

Keith Hewison

Keith joined the practice in 2012, having previously worked in the Insolvency Service and a number of other insolvency practices from sole practitioner to a top 4 accountancy firm. 

Keith is CPI qualified and is based in our Newcastle office where he manages a mixed portfolio on Insolvency cases. Keith has 29 years' experience working in the industry.

NATALIA PARKER

SENIOR INSOLVENCY ADMINISTRATOR

Having completed a Masters’ Degree in Dispute Prevention and Resolution and a Diploma in Insolvency Practice, Natalia has 15 years’ experience working in the insolvency industry. Having started her insolvency career as an examiner for the Official Receiver dealing with bankruptcies and compulsory liquidations, she then became an investigator for the Secretary of State, investigating financial misconduct. Natalia has experience of a wide range of industries and has worked closely with Government departments, regulators and the police.

Manni Dhillon

SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR

Manni fell into the world of Corporate Recovery in 2001 having completed a degree in Business and IT!  Manni is CPI qualified and has worked for some of the top 10 Accountancy firms based both in the City and nationally.  Her experience covers all forms of corporate recovery, but specialises in personal insolvency from both debtor and creditor perspectives. She has also handled asset recoveries for receivers appointed by the Court to enforce Confiscation Orders.  Based in our Kent office, Manni is currently managing a mixed portfolio of cases and offers support to local businesses facing financial uncertainty.

HANNAH GARDNER

Hannah joined the practice in 2012 to start her Insolvency Career, having studied Business and Administration and previously worked within the retail industry. Hannah is CPI qualified and her experience covers all forms of insolvency, but specialises in Corporate Insolvency and has gained experience in trading Administrations. Based in our Uxbridge Office, Hannah manages a large range of insolvency cases, including Administrations, Liquidations and Bankruptcies.

Lacra had over 3 years' experience as an insolvency practitioner working in Eastern Europe until she joined PCR in 2019. During her career she has dealt with numerous complex insolvency cases that have required advanced knowledge of the law as it relates to insolvency and related litigation. Lacra is currently dealing with a mixed portfolio of cases, ranging from voluntary liquidations and administration to investigations. Lacra is looking to formally qualify in the UK as well as in Romania.
